OBJECTIFS

  • Learn or improve your rheometry procedures and protocols of interest in industrial R&D for resins
  • Understanding the sources of artifacts, biases, their countermeasures and the challenges of a coherent interpretation of signals and curves

PROGRAM

  • Reminder of the operating principles of the rheometer in front of the machine
  • Implementation of suitable protocols on resins (viscoelastic measurement in monitoring of setting, mechanical strength, stickiness, etc.)
  • Discussion of common measurement difficulties and biases and artifacts
  • Issues of problem analysis and interpretation in industrial R&D

Nicolas Mougin is co-founding technical director of RHEONIS, Grenoble INP engineer, doctor in rheology and physics of complex materials and temporary teacher at Grenoble Alpes University.

Nicolas is a specialist in industrial issues related to the behavior of materials and experimental and instrumental techniques for their study.
