9am-12pm (3am)

Distance

€300 excl. tax/part.

Objectives

The objectives of this remote training, organized in partnership with AFPEV and AFTPVA, is to help participants discover and understand:

  • the operating principles of the main instrumental techniques for quantifying flow properties (section of viscosity, viscometer, rheometer,…)
  • Their respective contributions and limitations for R&D or quality control purposes

Initiation

  • Any industrial sector concerned with the development, manufacture orapplication paints and their ingredients

Engineer / Technician / Student / Manager

Prerequisites: Professional activity and/or training related to the field of paints, varnishes, inks, glues, coatings, etc.

  • Technical and scientific issues of formulation, production and application of paints and links with measurement issues
  • Main instrumental techniques of rheological measurement (viscosity section, viscometer, rheometer, etc.), quantities measured and relationship to rheological concepts
  • Conclusions on the contributions and limits of the different techniques in R&D, quality control or in production
