P01 – Behavioral Instrumental Techniques: making R&D more reliable and anticipating industrialization

1 day – 7 hours

March 10, 2022

Grenoble

€350 excl. tax/part.

(Lunch included)

Objectives

During this one-day introductory training, participants will discover the panorama of behavioral instrumental techniques for the study of the physical properties of behavior and transformation of materials. They will learn to:

  • Identify common principles and biases of behavioral measurement
  • Assess the adequacy of a measurement technique or standard to its objectives (development, innovation, sizing, optimization, problem solving, etc.)
  • Outline an adapted R&D approach

Initiation

  • Any material processing sector (powders, products pasty, phase change, etc.)
  • R&D, Industrialization, Methods, Quality, Innovation Services Technician/Engineer
  • Prerequisites: scientific and/or technical background

20 people max

The challenges of measurement for processing industries (9h-10h)

How to quantify the couplings between material and conditions of implementation?
Measurement standards, representativeness of measurements and parameters representative of phenomena

Behavioral instrumental techniques (viscometry, texturometry, rheometry, cutting of viscosity, Hall funnel, …) (10h-12h)
