At the end of the 2000s, the American Food and Drug Administration was alarmed by the high rate of failure in the development of drugs and openly recommended that manufacturers take an interest in understanding scientifically through an updated version of Quality-by-Design. .

We will show in this webinar how control logics, standardization and statistical approaches have had the effect of distancing industrial methods from scientific considerations of understanding phenomena.

We will see that the major points for improvement of industrial methods are located precisely at the places where their presuppositions are incoherent with the specificities of the phenomena linked to the transformation of matter.
