Atelier des Méthodes – Focus Methods – June 23 & 24, 2020

At the close of the first half of theAtelier des Méthodes 2020, we offer two sessions dedicated to the challenges of methods to choose your measurement techniques with regard to any type of physical behavior problem, set up relevant protocols and make the most of the data generated from the study.

June 23 – Choosing physical measurement techniques and developing predictive approaches for complex products

On this day of discovery and initiation, we will share our vision of the challenges of measurement to build a real measurement strategy in the service of performance, quality and innovation and choose its techniques to develop predictive approaches.

Type of day

DISCOVERY & INITIATION

Objectives

Thinking about the challenges of measurement to anticipate the behavior of materials – Questioning quality control approaches – Structuring an approach to choose one or more measurement techniques – Understanding the principles of building predictive approaches

Program

  • Challenges and difficulties of measurement to anticipate the behavior of materials in process or in application
  • Scope and limits of physical measurement techniques in quality control
  • How do I approach the question “Which measurement technique would suit my needs?” »
  • Choose between commercial instrumentation, custom adaptations & R&D prototypes
  • Principles for building predictive approaches
  • Examples

Speakers

Dr. Nicolas Mougin, Technical Director, Co-founder of Rheonis

Duration

7h

Prices

€120 excl. VAT / participant (€80 excl. VAT for additional participant)

June 24 – Exploitation & interpretation of physical measurement data, product/process modeling and statistical processing

This day of advanced training will be dedicated to the practical questions of physical measurement, the choice of physical parameters of interest and artefacts, as well as to the processing, exploitation and interpretation of data.

Type of day

CONTINUOUS TRAINING “DEPTH”

Objectives

Gain height on the challenges of measurement, data and their interpretation – Identify the physical parameters of interest – Represent, interpret, extract trends – Model the product/process

Program

  • Reminder of the challenges of measurement, data and their interpretation (focus on physical behavior and transformations of complex products)
  • Define the physical parameters of interest for a problem, set up protocols and identify artefacts
  • Data representation and processing, interpretation
  • Extraction of trends: experimental plans, statistical analyses, modeling
  • Case of product/process modeling
  • Examples and case studies adapted to the expectations of the participants

speaker

Dr. Nicolas Mougin, Technical Director, Co-founder Rheonis

Duration

7h

Prices

€350 excl. VAT / participant (€300 excl. VAT / participant from 2 participants from the same organization)

Do you want to participate?

The days take place in the premises of RHEONIS, at 73 rue des Javaux 38320 Eybens (Grenoble), between 9am and 17pm. Our team welcomes you with coffee, tea, fruit juice and pastries from 30:8 am and registration includes lunch.
