What is

the TRANzFORM® methodology?

Last stage of our methodological rocket, the TRANzFORM® methodology focuses on the organizational dimensions of the technical activities of processing industries.

Objectives

The TRANzFORM® methodology aims the development of the capacity to produce, retain, share and implement technical knowledge necessary and useful for the development of the competitiveness of the players in the transformation of materials.

Principle of use

TRANSFORM is a continuous improvement methodology for technical knowledge management, based on contemporary work on learning organizations and knowledge management.

Its particularity is to focus on the technical dimensions of the activities of the processing industries, in particular R&D, industrialization, production, quality, applications and their interfaces.

Approach

The methodology follows a four-step sequence: Diagnosis – Analysis / Structuring – Recommendations – Implementation.

A reading grid specific to the technical dimensions of the activity, combining analysis of practices, knowledge, skills, cooperation, technical means, makes it possible to take stock of the situation, identify areas for progress and formulate concrete recommendations.

Assets

Complementary to the various methodological and technical tools of RHEONIS, the TRANzFORM methodology opens the way to implementation and/or development of a technical knowledge management strategy.

This involves taking into account the specificities of technical activities and their key role in creating the competitiveness of processing industries, as well as taking advantage of the various assets already existing in the organization.
