The Customer experiences defects in the production of a granular material resulting from an impregnation, heat treatment and compaction process and calls on RHEONIS to support the understanding of the phenomena at the scientific level to guide problem resolution actions.

In response to this request, RHEONIS has implemented its know-how in the physics of divided solids and industrial thermomechanical processes to analyze the factors influencing the specific problem of the Customer at the scientific level and to propose ways of interpretation and concrete actions.

The stages of the study were therefore as follows:

  2. Brainstorming in problem solving
  3. Complementary bibliographic study on failure mechanisms
  4. Analysis and exploitation of production data and data configuration
  5. Recommendation for optimization and industrial testing

The actions fueled the Customer's thoughts and facilitated the resolution of the problem. Ways of improving the process were also outlined. The data exploitation parameters were able to be integrated by the Customer into its test procedures.
