Series 2 – Quantifying the dynamics of matter

Focus Rheometry II: Powders

Thursday 18 March 2021

14am-15pm

The rheometer makes it possible to integrate specific experimental modules, in particular for the quantification of behavior properties of powders.

In this webinar, we will present the dedicated modules (Schulze cell, fluidization cell) and their operating principles to quantify the response of powders to different types of stresses (compression, flowing, fluidization, hygrometry, etc.).

We will show that these approaches are powerful tools for objectively discriminating powders and anticipating problematic trends (caking, segregation, etc.).
