Startup Life – Episode 7: Sight Sailing

Our business plan was perfect. It only took a few months for reality to smash it, with no respect for our fine work of preparation.

These first cases that were just waiting for our creation to be ordered? Postponed, wastedOr abandoned.

The pre-creation interest of prospects for our future services? Ultimately less assertive.

The interest of new prospects? Often of principle. So little for a short term need.

Clearly, all verdant indicators from before creation were turning red and turning sour. It was all for later and we quickly had to inflict the same fate on our wages. Only fixed charges remained.

Despite the salutary aids to creation, our survivability was low.

Our frail skiff steered with the currents much more than with the strength of the oars - yet we rowed so hard to supply the base, create contacts, cross France to present the offer, refine the positioning and our supports, start again…

Prolong Survival from month to month acted as the only horizon throughout this period.

We learned in heavy weather to detect favorable currents and approach them.
